February 9, 2009, somehere in Haight-Ashbury in San Franciso– I walked the whole stretch of these intersection in search of the houses of The Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin, vinyl garage sale and wall art. These were just a few graffiti by local artists. My day trip here was cut short because the rains fell like crazy and I didn’t bring an umbrella. Luckily, I was able to take quick photos with the help of random strangers before the big pours sent me scampering for cover.

So most of the day was spent in the neighborhood flea market. I bought 100 pieces of vintage vinyl records for $100. Yes, I paid a dollar for each! I sent them babies via Atlas Forwarder to the Philippines.

San Francisco will be lovelier the 3rd time around. I’ll be back for more sights, smells, sounds, taste, and hopefully- more vinyls!
