First, let us begin with a dance:
The Hello Kitty Island Museum is a fantasy island in itself and for me, the cutest attraction in Jeju Island! It is not really an island. It is a 3-storey building that housed the world’s largest character collection (probably) starring our favorite girl and her Hello Kitty family members. It is located in 340, Hanchang-ro, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si. (Easy navigation through through your rental car’s navigator.) Or if you want to use the bus transport system, it is so easy, too.
From Jeju International Airport, take Bus No. 500 and get off at Halla Hospital Bus Stop.Transfer to Bus No. 780 and get off at Teddy Valley Golf & Resort Bus Stop.Walk for approx. 175 m to reach the venue.

There. Now save this Hello Kitty Island Museum To Do List to include in your Jeju Island vacation (recommended 5D4N for full enjoyment! Oh, did I tell you that you do not need a visa? Yes, you don’t.) You have to spend at least half a day there to fully enjoy your visit. Feed the soul of the girl in you. Hello Kitty activities are FOR ALL AGES. Nobody would think you are in your second childhood. Nobody would judge you except yourself. So go ahead, play and giggle like the little girl that you’d always like to live in your heart.
(Notice to old girls: Leave your men outside, I repeat, DO NOT take them with you. This is your Me-Time, a sweet moment that only you and your fellow girls should own. Not unless your guy loves her, too, truthfully— really. And that wouldn’t be so wrong, would it? If he says he’s game, then make him swear before Hello Kitty’s pink hair ribbon that he is not going to be a nuisance to you. (No pulling of skirt to say, “Let’s go!”) If he won’t swear by it, you better buy a bottle of soju and peanuts from any Lawson or 7-11 convenience store and leave him waiting at the parking lot. It’s your won spent wisely, and the entrance fee for adults is more or less 11,500 won or $10. (Updated: As of May 2020, it’s now $11.35.)
Now let me just share some photos we took from our visit of the Hello Kitty Island Museum, just to tickle your fancy. I won’t be surprised if Jeju Island would make it to your Top 10 Bucket List. After our 5 days of magical experience here, I honestly think that it should.
